MANIFESTO · SECYDA · 2026

Solid. Secure. Sovereign.

Europe built its prosperity on shared rules, but outsourced its digital foundations. Today the essential functions of the state — identity, communication, collaboration — run on infrastructure governed outside the European Union. Convenience replaced control. Efficiency replaced autonomy.

The result is structural. Europe no longer decides how it works, stores or protects its own information, and in doing so has weakened its position in every negotiation involving non-European governments or corporations. Dependence on external systems means that essential public functions can be restricted, made more expensive or even withdrawn by decisions taken beyond European jurisdiction. What began as interconnection has become strategic subjugation.

Why Secyda exists

Secyda exists to change that base layer. We build an EU-governed operational stack — verifiable, lawful and sovereign — for public, strategic and defence workloads. It is not another platform. It is the foundation that enables every institution, local or continental, to act, store and communicate under European law, European principles and European control.

Digital sovereignty is not an abstract principle. It is the operating condition for democracy, resilience and competitiveness in the twenty-first century.

Secyda defines how Europe works when it works for itself.

What we build

VEGA is the first Secyda product: the first layer of Europe’s sovereign operational stack. It provides the base infrastructure that allows public administrations to operate with full autonomy and legal certainty.

Institutional email, encrypted messaging, video conferencing, document management, secure storage and a compliance dashboard — all within a single, auditable, European environment.

VEGA is not a set of tools. It is the starting point of an infrastructure designed to endure and evolve with Europe’s institutions.

Interoperable. Transparent. Secure.

What sovereignty means

Data sovereignty: data resides on servers within European Union territory, under European jurisdiction, operated by a European entity. No foreign government, company or court can access it without going through the European legal order.

Operational sovereignty: the institution can continue operating if the provider interrupts the service, raises prices, changes terms or becomes subject to sanctions.

Decision sovereignty: the institution decides which features to activate, which data is processed and how security policies are configured.

Our commitments

Precision before enthusiasm. We only promise what we can guarantee. Every decision can be explained. Secyda is built so that every action has an owner, a record and a reason.

We are not an alternative to non-European technology. We are the choice for those who refuse to choose between functionality and sovereignty.

The principles governing how Secyda builds and operates are documented in our internal Constitution, available soon.

Digital autonomy is not isolation. It is the ability to engage, cooperate and negotiate on equal terms.

NEXT STEP

The next time someone asks where the institution’s data is, there’s a clear answer.
