Cookie policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files or data storage and retrieval devices that are downloaded onto the user's terminal device when they access a website. They allow, among other things, storing technical information, remembering preferences, recognising devices or browsers and measuring site activity. The term "cookies" is used broadly in this Policy to include similar local storage technologies (such as localStorage), to the extent applicable under privacy regulations.
Who manages cookies on this website?
All cookies and storage technologies used on the Secyda website are managed by Secyda Labs, S.L. as the website owner. No scripts, embedded services or resources hosted on third-party servers are used that could independently install cookies. Web analytics, when the user grants consent, operates through a self-hosted PostHog instance on Secyda's own infrastructure within the European Economic Area. Analytics requests are routed through Secyda's own domain (/ingest), with no browsing data transferred directly from the user's browser to external servers.
Types of cookies by purpose
Technical or strictly necessary
These enable browsing the website and using its essential functions, including managing authenticated sessions, security controls, preserving basic preferences and storing user consent. These technologies do not require consent when strictly necessary for the technical operation of the website or to provide a service expressly requested by the user.
Analytics
These allow measuring and analysing in an aggregated and pseudonymised manner how the website is browsed, in order to improve content, architecture and user experience. They are only activated when the user grants consent. Analytics data is processed on Secyda's own infrastructure within the European Economic Area and is not shared with third parties.

Legal basis for the use of cookies
The legal basis for the use of technical or strictly necessary storage technologies is Secyda's legitimate interest in enabling the secure and correct operation of the website, or the technical necessity of providing the service requested by the user. The legal basis for the use of analytics cookies is the user's consent, granted through the cookie settings panel. Users may withdraw or modify their consent at any time from the preference management panel available on the website.
Consent management
When first accessing the website, the user will see a notice allowing them to accept all non-necessary cookies, reject them or configure them by category. Secyda does not activate analytics cookies before obtaining user consent. Mere browsing or inactivity does not constitute valid consent for the use of non-necessary cookies. Users may modify their preferences at any time through the cookie preference panel available in the website footer.
How to disable or delete cookies
Users can allow, block or delete cookies through their browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the operation of some website features. Information on cookie management in the main browsers:
