The “Secyda” name, the Secyda logo, the Trama symbol (also referred to as the Grid), the VEGA product name, and all related brand assets are property of Secyda. These guidelines help institutions, partners, investors, and collaborators understand how to correctly use and display our trademarks and visual identity in their own materials.

Our brand represents a European alternative in defence, security, and technology. Every use of the Secyda identity should reinforce this:

Logo

Secyda’s logo system is built from two core elements:

  • The Grid (our symbol, also referred to as Trama)

  • The Secyda wordmark

Wordmark 

Secyda’s wordmark is the main expression of our brand.

Built with the Swiza typeface in fixed proportions, the wordmark is designed to project stability and clarity in every application. The weight of the letters communicates confidence; the balanced forms echo the disciplined precision expected from sovereign infrastructure.

The wordmark:

  • Must always appear in its approved artwork, without modification.

  • Can scale up or down as needed, provided minimum size and legibility are respected.

  • May be used alone where the brand is already clearly recognized or space is constrained (e.g. headers, email signatures, dense interfaces).

The wordmark is Secyda’s direct voice: clear, consistent, and strategic.

Wordmark: Dos and Don’ts 

Do:

  • Use only the official wordmark files supplied by Secyda.

  • Ensure sufficient clear space around the wordmark so it can be read easily.

  • Use wordmark colours that follow Secyda’s official palette (see Colour section).

  • Place the wordmark on backgrounds that provide strong contrast and legibility.

Don’t:

  • Don’t stretch, compress, or distort the wordmark in any direction.

  • Don’t change the proportions, letter spacing, or alignment of the wordmark.

  • Don’t apply effects such as shadows, gradients, outlines, or textures.

  • Don’t use unapproved colours or place the wordmark on backgrounds that reduce contrast.

  • Don’t crop the wordmark or use it as a mask within illustrations, photos, or patterns.

  • Don’t recreate the wordmark using any font other than Swiza or by manually typing it.

Logo

Trama

The Trama is Secyda’s symbol: a circle that functions as a shield of unity and protection, crossed by ascending lines that suggest expansion and active defence. It represents stability, interconnection, and the shared European foundation on which Secyda is built.

The Trama is always used in a square format. Its size matches the full height of the wordmark—from the highest point of the “D” to the lowest point of the “Y”. The spacing between the Grid and the wordmark is fixed and equals twice the distance between the “D” and the “A”.

The Trama can be used:

  • Together with the wordmark as the primary logo.

  • On its own as a recognisable emblem in contexts where Secyda is clearly identified (e.g. app icons, favicons, security seals, or secondary branding moments).

The Trama is a timeless emblem of European digital sovereignty. It should always feel precise, strong, and controlled.

Trama: Dos and Don’ts 

Do:

  • Use the official Trama artwork without modification.

  • Maintain the prescribed size relationship between the Trama and the wordmark in the main lockup.

  • Keep clear space around the Trama so it remains distinct and legible.

  • Use colours defined in Secyda’s palette that reinforce the sense of defence, continuity, and sovereignty.

Don’t:

  • Don’t change the proportions, orientation, or line thickness within the Trama.

  • Don’t crop the symbol, embed it inside busy graphic fields, or use it as a texture.

  • Don’t fill the Trama with images, gradients, or unapproved colours.

  • Don’t add extra elements (icons, flags, patterns) inside or around the symbol.

  • Don’t place the Trama over highly complex or low-contrast backgrounds that compromise legibility.

Brand partnerships

When Secyda appears alongside the identity of public institutions, strategic partners, or investors, co‑branding must reflect clarity, balance, and respect for each organization’s mandate.

Partnership materials should make it immediately clear who is responsible for what, while preserving Secyda’s positioning as Solid. Secure. Sovereign infrastructure under European law.

When building a partnership lockup:

  • Place each logo with enough spacing so they remain clearly distinct.

  • Use only official, approved logo files from each party.

  • Align logos so that visual weight and height feel balanced and coherent.

  • Use neutral backgrounds that preserve legibility and do not introduce visual noise.

  • Make the nature of the relationship explicit (for example: “Powered by Secyda”, “In collaboration with Secyda”, or “Built on Secyda infrastructure”).

Secyda’s logo must never be merged with, embedded into, or visually fused with any partner logo. The Trama symbol / Grid must not be used to decorate or alter another organization’s identity.

Dos and Don’ts: Brand Partnerships 

Do:

  • Use the established spacing rules so each logo can “breathe”.

  • Strive to keep wordmarks at similar optical height and visual weight.

  • Use the official Secyda colour palette and respect the approved colours of partners.

  • Share co‑branded materials with Secyda for review when required by agreements.

Don’t:

  • Don’t recolour the Secyda logo or partner logos to “match” each other.

  • Don’t use the Trama / Grid inside a partner logo, seal, or coat of arms.

  • Don’t place partnership lockups over busy images or low‑contrast backgrounds.

  • Don’t distort, crop, or stack logos in ways that could confuse hierarchy or ownership.

  • Don’t present Secyda as the issuer of communications that legally belong to the institution, or vice versa.

All co‑branded assets may be subject to approval by Secyda and, where relevant, by the partner institution before publication.

Typography

Secyda uses the Swiza typeface as its primary typography.

Swiza is a Sans Serif font chosen for its clear legibility and sober character. Contemporary details give it modernity without sacrificing the timelessness needed for infrastructure aimed to last over decades. Using Swiza consistently ensures that the logo and all typographic materials stay coherent and resistant to short-lived trends.

Recommended use:

  • Titles and headings: Swiza Bold or Swiza Medium

  • Body text and informative copy: Swiza Regular

Typography should reflect Secyda’s personality: direct, precise, and calm. Avoid decoration, excessive variation in styles, or typographic effects that distract from the content.

  • Use Swiza for all brand communications wherever technically possible.

  • Maintain consistent hierarchy using weight, size, and spacing rather than decorative effects.

  • Prioritise readability, especially in institutional and legal contexts.

Don’t:

  • Don’t build the logo with any typeface other than Swiza.

  • Don’t overuse italics, underlines, or letterspacing for emphasis.

  • Don’t mix multiple unrelated fonts in the same layout, especially alongside the Secyda logo.
